Movement as medicine
Not punishment, not performance. Movement as a way to circulate blood, lymph and mood.
What counts
Walking, dancing, resistance training, swimming, gardening, playing with your children. If it moves your body and lifts your mood, it counts.
A weekly picture
Aim for 3 sessions of strength, 2 of something aerobic, and daily walking. Rest is part of the plan — over-training raises cortisol and stalls results.
